Organic Silicone Resin

The organic silicone resin indicates a resin consists of some stereo three-dimensional polymers and has hard coat. The formed coat has various properties, such as heat resistance, climate resistance, electrical insulation, hydrophobicity etc., to improve durability, safety and reliable functions. It may be usually used in a wide range of fields after dissolved by organic solvent.

Product Features

Heat Resistance

The siloxane (Si-O-Si) bond, which forms the main structure of molecular structure has very good heat resistance because of strong bonding energy and very high thermal decomposition temperature. Decomposition, degradation and discoloration do nearly not occur at a high temperature environment of 250℃.

Electrical Insulation

It develops excellent electrical property within a wide range of temperatures. Additionally, the electrical insulation is reduced less and the electric arc resistance is also good even in high temperature environment.

Climate Resistance

Because the degradation level caused by UV light is low, the climate resistance is good. Yellowing is small, pulverization level is low, and gloss sustains long, the property of the coat may keep stable for long time.

Hydrophobicity

For methyl contained in molecules, the surface of the hardened object has very good hydrophobic effect.

High Hardness

Because of the composition from three-dimensional polymers, the structure of its hardened object is similar to glass. Thus, the arrangement to e inorganic substance surface is possible.
